We are using the song "Think On These Things" (from Music K-8, Vol. 18, No. 3) in a show about Black History Month. Since we are focusing on including everyone and being sensitive to the needs of others, my second graders have learned 16 ASL signs to go with the song. We are signing the phrase "Think on these things" as well as the key words from the refrain: love, sister, brother, mercy, peace, unity, joy, sorrow, hope, goodness, truth, and purity.
