We did "North Pole, North Pole" (from Music K-8, Vol. 17, No. 2 last year, and it was a big hit!

Here's what we did: (We all had big, yard-sized candy canes and plastic top hats)
First 8 counts - Bounce on beat with cane held horizontally
Next 8 counts - Keep bouncing, but hold cane vertically with one hand on top of the other
Every time we sing "North Pole, North Pole" - Touch head/hat on "north" and hand off and up for "pole"
*NOTE: Make sure everyone is using the same hand
"Just see those glistening gumdrops..." - Half crouch and bounce arm/ hand (palm facing away, like a "high five") on beat across body from right to left - 9 "bounces" and last one tapers off the rest of the way to the left
"Ho ho ho!" - Hold canes in front of body like big belly and bounce them!
"Way over the moon" - 8 counts of vertical cane (like second step at beginning) starts on the word "moon"
"And when we fly away," - Slap thigh (we clapped until we had the canes to contend with!) in rest between "we" and "fly" then hand in arc over head.
"we're goin'" - Reverse so your hand goes opposite direction
REPEAT for all applicable lines
I also have eight "kickers" in front for that big bang-up finish. (They only kick from "Way over the moon!" to "...reindeer are soaring!")
At the end, instead of touching our hats, we take them off and shake them on the last "pole!"
