I found some rubbery-plastic waffle-weave oval placemats at a dollar store several years ago. They came in five bright colors, eight to a pack for $2.00. The material is similar to that of certain shelf liners that you can buy and trim to size. I don't use them every day, but when I do, they certainly help with the wiggles and scooting around. I'll never go back to carpet squares again!
