I have a carpet in my room that seems to gather many germs and dirt, plus, it's filthy underneath! So I bought some cheap carpet squares, and each student gets one. They put the squares down when they come in and sit on them, and when they leave, the squares can be stacked again and the floor cleaned. It's much easier to clean and keep track of, plus I think it cuts down on germs flying around my room!
