"A CD About ME" was a project our eighth graders did as a way to introduce themselves in the beginning of the year. Each student was to first create a CD cover (or jacket) as if it were his/her own debut CD. What title would best describe them? What photos or graphic(s) would they use? I asked that all covers be bold, bright, and beautiful! (No blank spaces!)
The second part of the project was to create a song list of at least five song titles. The song titles had to be made up titles that reflected things about YOU (the student) and YOUR LIFE (the student's life). They could NOT be popular song titles from current artists. The song titles the students came up with were very creative and certainly DID reflect many of the daily stresses, adventures, and life experiences of today's teens.
