Canción De La Navidad

by Mike Wilson

This festive song allows you to say "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" in two languages. The unison melody is easy to learn and will give your students another opportunity to use the Spanish language they've been learning.

A soloist starts the song (optional), with the choir repeating the verse. You might even invite your audience to sing along if you think they're up to it.

The Spanish verses should be sung with pep. A helpful hint: Spanish sounds better if you sing it with a smile on your face, because it widens your mouth. The English verses should be more legato. Have fun and Feliz Navidad!
