Teeny Tiny Pumpkins

One of the most endearing things about autumn is the prevalence of pumpkins everywhere. You see pumpkins, you think autumn. (Or pie. But that's another song.) Besides the usual large orange variety, there are also miniature versions, kid-sized and just perfect for decorating. This folksy ditty celebrates those teeny tiny iterations.

Originally conceived as a primary piece, it became evident that adding the harmony above the melody was a natural thing to do. So, now this is a two-part piece. Optionally, of course. It can still function as a primary tune when you let your little ones sing the melody. But now you can involve older kids as well with part 2 and the clapping, which is also optional. This song is really quite simple and a delightful way to add a seasonal tune to your autumn programming. Don't forget to include actual eensy weensy, itsy bitsy pumpkins, either as decor or props your singers can hold. That's how teeny tiny they are!
