Counting By 5s

When kids first start to count by 5s, it might be tricky or overwhelming. Incorporating music with learning the patterns can help your students catch on quickly. "Skip Counting" is a valuable skill that will aid in money handling or just counting quantities of items, which might happen more often than we think, especially once we're older.
This song, with its '60s-style R&B horn section, will make learning this task fun. Sadly, we only had enough "room" in the song to make it to 40, but it should be enough for the kids to recognize the pattern, and count on and on.
