The Muffin Man

Drum roll please! And now… all the way from Drury Lane, we present "The Muffin Man!" Is it possible Music K-8 has been around for 30 years and has never done an arrangement of this song?? It's hard to believe, but true. This is pretty much the song as you know it melodically, with perhaps a change or two. Our own John Riggio has taken this traditional children's favorite and rocked it up for your primary kiddos.
The arrangement has three verses. The first two are call and response (Do you know… Yes, I know…), and the third verse is the bring-it-on-home declaration (We all know…) after a quick nod to John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt in the second ending. To add to the excitement, John added yelled "Hey's" at the end of the verses. Because what kid doesn't like to shout a little? Let kids have a good time with this.
Special thanks to Steve Dokken who added some double stop riffs on electric bass after each verse to add to the cool quotient.
