School Is Back In Session

Here's a tune that'll have your students stoked to be back in school! "School Is Back In Session" is a real rocker that extols the virtues of starting the school year with a positive outlook and making right choices. The lyrics speak for themselves.

The recording of this song features an outstanding rhythm section with some really great electric guitar passes and amazing drum work. (Thanks Sandy and Dane!) The melody line is infectious and hook-laden, and despite some of the syncopated rhythms, our singers learned it very quickly.

We've indicated vocal scoops on the music where it made sense to do so, and the entire chorus starting at measure 33 is accented to give it more power.
