I sometimes sprinkle "forgetting dust" on my classes. There's always some in my pocket. Ok, it is absolutely nothing, although sometimes I hit an eraser and pretend THAT'S the forgetting dust.

This is very useful with the little guys as we memorize for a program. I assure them that it's very powerful forgetting dust, and that it will make them forget all their words. Of course, you already know what happens! They sing better and more precisely than ever, followed by my complete astonishment that the forgetting dust didn't work, etc, etc. I try again with the dust from the OTHER pocket, that's even more powerful, and they sing even better, and so on!
