Music Concentration Game: Make the game on a transparency. Divide the transparency into 30 sections, and number each section. Draw one music symbol in each section, with a total of two of each symbol on the transparency (since you are looking for pairs).
Provide something the correct size to cover each of the symbols, but not the numbers. Make a hard copy of the transparency, and write the symbol names on the hard copy for the sub. Bingo! The sub will actually be teaching music.
