I was going back through previous volumes of Music K-8 magazine and found a jewel... "Welcome Back!," a blues tune from Music K-8, Vol. 9, No. 1. I love it! It swings!
We'll listen and tap out the chord changes (I = pat, IV = shoulders, V = head) then go to the Orff instruments and play the blues changes. (I like the key of E for blues on Orff instruments.) Next, we'll probably write some back-to-school words of our own!
