Question: As I progress with my classes on the music from This Is America, I was wondering about the use of a color guard that was suggested for the opening song. How does one go about finding color guard participants to do this?
Answer: I have used a variety of color guards. One concert I used the Safety Patrol, the police officer in charge taught them the proper procedure. I have also used the local high school ROTC unit; they were most impressive! I also had a local Boy Scout color guard.
