I came up with a movement idea for the song, "Guacamole!" (from Music K-8, Vol. 12, No. 4) for my fifth grade chorus this year. (We're doing a food-themed concert). It's a pretty simple song, but they ask for it every class! Easy AND they love it.

In the movement section, movements are as follows (students need to have an egg shaker in their hands, but this would also work with maracas):

When the flute part starts...

Shake to the left 5 times (eighth notes)

Shake to the right 5 times

Roll arms together down for two beats, then up for two beats

Repeat arms rolls (down, then up)

Shake to the left 5 times

Shake to the right 5 times

Roll arms (down then up - just once this time)

Shake 5 times (in the middle)

We also added a dip with our bodies and hands at the "dip it" parts. All the egg shakers at once sound really neat with the song.
