When our 5th grade did Elfis and The Sleigh Riders, we found we could not get a student's motorized wheelchair onto our stage. So, I cut two sides out of a refrigerator box and had a team of kids decorate it to look like a '57 Chevy. We even added fuzzy dice that said "Naughty" and "Nice!" We fastened the "lead sled" around the chair with pipe cleaners and duct tape. Another team choreographed the class' grand entrance and one of the dances with the chair in mind.
