I use 1/8" wide ribbon, purchased from the craft department at Wal-Mart, cut into 12" lengths. I tie them on the bell, one on top of the other.
The kids are going crazy for recorders!!! Every morning when I arrive, there are 8-10 kids by my trailer waiting to play for me! Students that I never thought particularly talented musically are surprising the daylights out of me! I love it and so do they!!!
