My kids had fun making up silly motions - not for performance - but for learning it. If I can remember:
Land - stomp on floor
That I love - cross arms on chest
Stand Beside Her - crunch up against someone else's side
and Guide Her - pretend to have a seeing eye dog
Through the Night - cover eyes with hands
With a light - hold up one finger
From Above - point up
From the Mountains - make a mountain with arms
To the Prairies - show "flat" with arms at waist level (we talked about prairies being flat, opposite of mountains)
To the Oceans - show waves with hands
White with Foam - let hands go crazy to show waves crashing
God - point up
Bless - rain type motion
America - kind of an "all" motion
My Home Sweet Home - hug yourself
Hope this makes it more fun. My kids loved making white with foam after I explained rapids and waves crashing.
