I went to the dollar store and bought 25 pizza pans. On these pizza pans I drew staffs with a permanent marker. The front has a treble clef and the back has a bass clef. I use circle magnets (from Radio Shack) with the pizza pan staffs for practice on treble and bass clef note names. The kids really like them. They can hold them up, and the notes won't move. They work great as flashcards and are less messy than little slate boards.
