I was making up some business cards for myself when I thought of a new idea. Print off rhythm patterns on business cards to make playing cards! Play a matching game with the kids by giving each child a packet of mixed rhythm pattern cards and a sheet of paper with the rhythm syllables or words. For example, on a sheet of paper type "strawberry ice cream" in a box, "salt and pepper," "huckleberry pie," etc. and match the rhythm pattern card to the words on the sheet.
