I have done "Rainbows Rock!" from Music K-8, Vol. 14, No. 4 with my kids and they loved it. One of my kindergarten teachers, Tammy Makofski, adapted it, and I edited it to make it "Graduation Rocks!" We're having the kids wear sunglasses and are making microphones for them. Here are the words we're using (of course most of you would have to change "chapel" to something else):
Graduation Rocks! (adapted from "Rainbows Rock!")
- ABCs, colors too!
- 123s, reading and writing too!
- ABCs, colors too!
- 123s, reading and writing too!
- Grad-u-a-tion ROCKS!
- We learn as days go by.
- Grad-u-a-tion ROCKS!
- We're reaching for the sky!
- Lunch, recess, chapel too!
- Music, art, science too!
- Lunch, recess, chapel too!
- Music, art, science too!
- Grad-u-a-tion ROCKS!
- We grow more every day!
- Grad-u-a-tion ROCKS!
- Now we're on our way!
- Shout: "WE ROCK!" at the very end.
