Musicplay is a play based program. Each week features a new game from which the musical concepts in the curriculum are taught, and children love music games!

The Musicplay lesson plans include 79-110 songs per grade, like action songs, sing-along songs, holiday songs, game songs, and more; multicultural songs - Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and African, sung in original languages; a variety of voicings and accompaniments in the recordings; Internet references for many topics; performance and accompaniment tracks for most songs; a listening notebook and response journal; native Canadian songs and games; and beginning recorder instruction in grade 4 and 5. This series is sequenced for use within Kodály and Orff programs, and it supports and enhances science, social studies, and the language arts curriculum.
