Just Call Me Ed

by Karl Hitzemann

In the spirit of songs like "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt," we bring you "Just Call Me Ed" - a song about a man burdened with a name that no one can seem to remember. And that name is: Ed Boomdeeclitcheeknorkborkneehausen. Of course, the funny part is that, in the song, the name they have trouble remembering is... Ed.

The accompaniment track has a very nice polka-esque sound to it. It features a rhythm section, clarinet, tuba, and accordion. We have also provided a playable piano part with guitar chords if you would prefer to do a "live" performance. However you choose to do it, be sure to have fun with it. (from Music K-8, Vol. 19, No. 5)
