Yodelady

In this day and age of mixing mediums, we thought, why not yodeling and rap? This song will let your students experience and enjoy both musical styles. Your singers will have no problems singing "yodelady hoo" as if they were really yodeling. For the rapped parts, your students will probably adopt an attitude quite the opposite of the bubbly yodelers. Our recording combines traditional acoustic instruments, such as tuba and accordion, for the oom pah parts while mixing contemporary electronic sounds together for the hip-hop part. The two together are a hoot! Consider having performers in costume for this tune. This song will keep you all giggling. (from Music K-8, Vol. 12, No. 3)
