Herbie And The Good News Garden - Listening CD

CHARACTERS:

• Herbie - the horticulturist - knowledgeable - the group's leader; a professor-type kid, wears a monogrammed lab coat with his shorts, shirt and tennis shoes. He carries an iPad and refers to it from time to time as he talks.
• Anna - southern belle - speaks with an exaggerated southern accent, is wearing a beautiful sundress, sandals and a big floppy hat. She carries a large summery straw handbag with her props inside.
• Maggie - Anna's down-to-earth, very practical friend - wears overalls with a brightly colored t-shirt and tennis shoes. Maggie arrives carrying a rake.
• Felix - worried about bugs and germs, reads encyclopedias - nerdy-voiced fella, wearing eyeglasses, high water pants, a button up shirt and loafers. He has sterile gloves and bottle of hand sanitizer in his pocket.
• Kids - (optional) a small group of the choir kids who are gardening near the drama cast; they respond to the lines of the drama cast and participate in the gardening. (This gives choirs with larger auditioning groups a place for extras).
