Playing the recorder has never been so much fun! RecorderWorld is the exciting and creative way to learn the recorder. It is a step-by-step teaching method including over 40 pieces in the first book, with well-known and fun original pieces in a style kids love.

Concert pieces provide opportunities for performance right away, and there is plenty of opportunity for group work with duets, rounds, and percussion boxes. Explore the world of improvisation and composition through imaginative starting points. "Fact Files" introduce new information about beats, musical markings, and time signatures, while "Clapping Games" instill a strong sense of rhythm. The Teacher's Book provides simple piano parts to accompany over 60 of the pieces in the Student Books 1 and 2, including all the concert pieces. Guitar chords are also included.

Book 1 incorporates the notes E, G, A, B, C and D. Book 2 continues on with the notes low F sharp, low D, B flat, low F, C sharp, top E, top F, low C, top F sharp, and top G. There is also an accompaniment CD available that contains over 60 pieces from Student Books 1 and 2, including rehearsal and performance tempo versions of all the concert pieces.
