On Valentine's Day

The goal was to provide an easy-to-learn, upbeat, catchy song without a lot of mush for Valentine's Day. This should appeal to your younger groups with a unison melody line that is predominantly scale oriented. Add claps during the choruses or, optionally, other percussion - sticks, tambourine, cowbell, hand drums, or buckets. (from Music K-8, Vol. 31, No. 3)
