Take A Walk

by John Riggio

This song was originally meant to complement Take A Walk In The Park Day (March 30th). But, hey! Walking is something you can do any time of year. It helps refresh you, improves your mood, and is good for your health. Even a winter walk can be fun; but if it's just too cold to walk outside, you can walk at the mall or a gym.

This song has a happy, feel-good vibe to it. It's a shuffle, so it has a triplet feel to it, and your students should be able to sense that. The piano and electric piano both cover the melody to help them out. (from Music K-8, Vol. 28, No. 5)
