Three Baby Groundhogs

by Teresa Jennings

This cute, energetic, bouncy song will make your students want to start moving the second they hear it. The song is entirely in unison except for the brief spoken solo, "Who's that baby groundhog lookin' at me?" The optional claps are doubled on the recording by electronic claps. Your students can clap along, or you can adapt them, simplify them, or just leave them out.

While it's perfect for celebrating Groundhog Day, students may ask for this fun little ditty all year round! (from Music K-8, Vol. 12, No. 3)
