Take The A, B, C, Or G Train

by Paul Jennings

Duke Ellington was a powerful musical force throughout much of the twentieth century. This song is a tribute to him, and it is loosely based on the sound and chord changes of Ellington's signature tune "Take The A Train." While the recorders play G, A, B, and C, the tune is not rhythmically difficult and it's a lot of fun to play. (from Music K-8, Vol. 24, No. 4)
