Information About Ordering As A Dealer

Thank you for your interest in carrying products from Plank Road Publishing.

You may place Dealer orders via e-mail, fax, phone, and U.S. mail. (See information at right.)

Please note that we cannot calculate Dealer discounts and Dealer shipping and handling on any of our web sites. Dealer orders must be placed using one of the methods listed above.

Your discount is based on how much you order from us in a one-year period. Discounts are evaluated and adjusted at least once a year.

Our current Plank Road Publishing dealer discounts range as follows:

  • Purchases up to $200 (within a one year period) will receive a 30% discount.
  • Purchases between $201 and $500 (within a one year period) will receive a 40% discount.
  • Purchases between $501 and $1000 (within a one year period) will receive a 45% discount.
  • Purchases of $1001 or more (within a one year period) will receive a 50% discount.

We offer stock orders ($1000 wholesale going to one location) at 55% with 60 days for payment. You can place stock orders at any time of the year.

Since we are both a publisher and a vendor, we can only offer Dealer discounts on Plank Road Publishing products. We also offer discounts on all other products published by Plank Road Publishing, including: World Music Press, Alice Olsen, and Norm Sands' The Write Stuff. However, please note that downloadable products, as well as subscriptions to Music K-8 and Recorder Classroom, are not available to Dealers for resale.

Your discount will be applied to all products found on our Dealer web site. You can search for products by name, or you can click on "All Products" at the top of the page for an alphabetical listing of all discounted products that you may purchase for resale. You can also find details about our newest products.

There is no minimum order amount. Unless otherwise specified, we will ship all Dealer orders via UPS Ground. You will be charged the exact shipping amount, plus a minimal box/handling fee per shipment. Orders from U.S. Dealers will be invoiced, and payment is expected within 30 days (with the exception of stock orders, which are given 60 days). We do accept Foreign Dealer orders as long as we have all of your information and as long as the orders are pre-paid.

All orders are considered firm and non-returnable.

Upon request, we will drop ship orders directly to your customer for an additional $4.00 fee that will be added to shipping and handling. If requested, we can also ship via UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS 3 Day Select. For express orders, it is always best to avoid processing delays by calling us to order.

Please note that the permission to use, duplicate, and perform our music is only granted by purchase of the corresponding Teacher's Handbook, which is included in our kits. (The CD or Student Parts alone do not carry these rights.)

If your payments are consistently delinquent, Plank Road Publishing has the right to lower your discount, hold orders, or refuse service. However, we will do all we can to work with you.
