A study on the effect of dance on high school students' creative thinking skills found that dance students scored higher on the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking in areas of elaboration, originality, and abstractness than non-dance students. The study provides additional empirical support for the belief that dance improves the students' ability to consider multiple perspectives.
