A Nebraska district's curriculum coordinator, surveyed by the Center on Education Policy, found that their district has less time for non-tested subjects and "fun" activities because of the increased time spent on reading and math. The district's superintendent fears that their strong music program will be cut from the curriculum due to NCLB's focus on core academic subjects.
