AVOID LOSING YOUR YOUTUBE ACCOUNT
With the new school year underway, lots of teachers are posting
rehearsal videos. If you do so, please be sure to follow the guidelines
below.
Important Note About Using Our Music In YouTube Videos
Any videos with Plank Road Publishing music - except videos of your
students' performances - must be shared ONLY with your students, so the
videos MUST be set to unlisted. If you are unsure how to set a video to
unlisted, an internet search will provide simple instructions. You can
share links to the unlisted videos with your students so they can practice.
If a video is set to public, anyone in the world can find it, and that
breaks our copyright policies. Videos breaking our copyright policies
will be removed without notice, which will result in copyright strikes,
and your channel may be shut down by YouTube.
In addition, please include our writer credits/copyright information
(usually found on the first page of the music notation) in the video or
the notes and remove the video after the performance.
Videos of your students performing our songs may be set to public and
shared with anyone. Those videos will not be removed.
Here's a video explaining our policies:

Thank you, and happy music making!
