Football Assessments

After completing studies of piano, recorder, Orff, etc. my fourth and fifth graders play football on my magnetic white board. The field is drawn, and the footballs with magnets glued on the back move ten yards every time a team member performs a particular song correctly with fingerings and rhythms. I assess without them knowing. It's a blast to see the process of learning taking place while each team enjoys the game.
