Flat Key Signature Mnemonic Device

This year, my FIFTH GRADE students have been working on learning the MAJOR KEY SIGNATURES. Of course, they can easily remember Key of C. Some of them were having some difficulty with the others... I taught them the sentence to go along with the Sharp Key Signatures: Go Down And Eat Breakfast First Charlie. They loved it! However, I told them that I never learned one for the Flat Key Signatures, even through all of my music training. I explained that I just remember F then BEAD then G and C. They weren't real impressed with that.

Much to my surprise, one of the boys in my class, who is sometimes a handful), came to class the next day and taught everyone the sentence he had made up for the Flat Key Signatures. We all love it and my fifth graders can recognize all the Major Key Signatures....JUST IN TIME FOR SIXTH GRADE BAND!!!!!!

The sentence is... Fire Breathers Enjoy A Diesel Gas Can!
