Guacamole Volunteer Song

I have been doing a special song for our Teacher of the Year (T-O-Y) for the last few years. In years past, I have used "We Appreciate You" (from Music K-8, Vol. 11, No. 3) and "Jump!" (from Music K-8, Vol. 12, No. 5) to sing for the P.E. teacher. I listened (again) to "Guacamole!" (from Music K-8, Vol. 12, No. 4), and here is my version for our "Teacher Of The Year":

Super Teacher, Mrs. Gooch,

We really like our Teacher of the Year, yes we do.

Super Teacher, Mrs. Gooch,

Our Forest Heights Teacher of the Year.

Take E-L-A, and teach it, teach it,

Take 4th grade math and teach it, HANDS ON!

Take Social Studies and teach it, teach it,

Take technology, and use it, SMARTBOARDS!

(Those are the subjects that our T-O-Y teaches this year.)
