Recorder "Belts" Beads with Safety Pins

Here's another idea for displaying recorder "belts" on your recorder:

Each student received a large safety pin and tied it to the foot of their recorder with a six inch length of bead and braiding cord. For each belt, they earned a colored bead that easily slid onto the safety pin. When the pin was filled, we simply added another pin.

Worked like a charm. ;)
