First Names, Please!

At the beginning of the year I seat students alphabetically by FIRST names. I also keep them in my grade book that way. It is easier for me to associate who they are with where they sit if the seating is according to their names. This is also a change for them, since in many of their classes they are alphabetized according to last names.
