Dry Board Eraser Saver

I use laminated boards with my students. I asked all the second graders to bring in a sock that doesn't have a match or is too small. I put one dry erase marker in each sock, and the students use the sock to erase. It saves the erasers from wear and tear, and I just pop the socks in the washer with bleach once in awhile. It works like a charm!
